ITIL supports Mobile Telecoms Outsourcing deal
March 2011 - UK Telecommunications sector: The 2010 merger of 'Orange' and 'T-Mobile' that resulted in the companies being re-branded as 'Everything, Everywhere' is outsourcing its IT to 'T-Systems' in a seven year contract that has been speculated to be worth an estimated £700m.
 
The outsourcing includes the delivery of desktop services, data centre operations and infrastructure management, IT applications support, as well as the ITIL support processes to underpin the workforce of sixteen thousand.
