A publication called Passing your ITIL Foundation Exam 2009 edition is going to be translated into the following languages:
- Chinese
- Dutch
- French
- German
- Japanese
The Stationary Office (TSO) in the UK are looking for 10 native language speakers who are fluent in English to assist in this exercise.
Their role is to quality assure the translation against the English version of the book, ensuring that the sense and meaning has been captured as well as reviewing the book for any grammatical errors.
The review period is from May to June 2010 but these dates are subject to change. Those selected will be sent a link that enables them to receive an electronic copy of the translation, the English version and an issues log document to capture any issues.
Reviewers will also need to sign a Non Disclosure Agreement before they are permitted to work on the translations. They will also have their names and organizations printed within the publications as acknowledgement of their work.
