Value of Codeless IT Service Management highlighted by Forrester Total Economic Impact Report
EasyVista Solution Delivers More Than 270 Percent Return On Investment With Payback In Less Than 12 Months For Enterprises Looking To Replace Their Legacy Solutions

New York, NY, November 08, 2010: EasyVista Inc., a global leader in IT Service Management, today announced a report from Forrester Research that analyzes the Total Economic Impact (TEI) benefits one customer received after replacing its cumbersome legacy IT Service Management (ITSM) solution with EasyVista.  The analysis highlights benefits not offered by other legacy vendors - a 271 percent Return on Investment (ROI) over three years with a payback period of less than 12 months.

The "Total Economic Impact of EasyVista IT Service Management" report evaluated four fundamental elements of Total Economic Impact and TCO - the cost, benefit, flexibility and risk factors associated with implementing EasyVista. It provides companies with a framework for evaluating the financial impact of EasyVista in their organizations. For the report, Forrester worked with an EasyVista customer that has more than 12,000 employees and an IT team of 300 people responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining quality IT services for the company.

In addition to the high ROI, the customer saw the following benefits from codelessly customizable EasyVista:
  • Savings of approximately $455,000 for legacy solution upgrade and about $104,000 each year in maintenance contract costs
  • Eliminated need for external developers for configuration changes, saving the company  about $13,000 per modification for each of its active processes
  • By replacing the heavy customized platform, all customizations transferred during upgrades,
  • Avoided excessive upgrade costs as well as the annual maintenance fee of the legacy solution
  • Achieved total benefits of approximately $1.7 million over a three-year period
"Organizations face a crowded IT service management market that requires vendors to differentiate themselves and quickly show results and benefits," said Jamal Labed, COO of EasyVista Inc. "This Forrester Total Economic Impact Report, which in affect looks at TCO demonstrates the tangible value EasyVista provides to organizations. We are proud of the ROI we have delivered to our customers and are eager to continue to provide those savings to more customers around the world."

EasyVista enables organizations to concentrate on their core business while improving the quality of service delivered to end-users and reducing IT management costs. EasyVista provides clear benefits not delivered by legacy solutions - its unique codeless development environment reduces TCO by up to 50 percent over five years and offers an 80-percent reduction in roll-out time versus traditional on-premise providers by combining codeless customizations, saas and ITIL v3 process wizards.
